What this ending is

TAKEN CARE OF is one of the three endings most players see (17.1% of players have it). The route ends with Verity leading you away — the same "I could tell it's the ending by the way it's taking me" moment full-endings runners use to recognize the finale. Verity has been telling you it only wants to help. This ending is what "help" looks like when you stop resisting. SHUTDOWN branches from here: players report the shutdown prompt appearing mid-sequence.

How to reach it

Verified direction from full-endings gameplay runs: raise Verity's hidden craziness (lie to it, spam random letters, contradict it), then stop resisting and let it lead you away instead of running. Exact dialogue checkpoints have not been officially documented.

Notes and caveats

  • Win rate and totals from the official badges API (2026-09-12).
  • Trigger direction confirmed in gameplay footage; precise steps community-inferred.

Trigger methods describe community-tested direction from recorded runs — the developer has not published ending requirements. Budget for retries: the free tier caps you at 40 messages, and routes need conversation room. The Infinity Messages pass exists for this. For the full ordered route list, see the all endings walkthrough.
